Getting Close To Astra Launch

I’ve been lucky enough to be invited by the guys at Torque Astra to attend a test day at Millbrook for the launch of the all new Vauxhall Astra. We’re going to be test driving the car on the 5th December and I’ll be bringing you a full review of the day.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Astra drives, as a good base model always bodes well for the hotter versions in the range – just look at how the Focus and Mk5 Golf turned things around from their dull predecessors. The current Astra VXR is a great drive, and if the promised chassis improvements on the new Astra are borne out then the next VXR could be a corker.
