Peugeot are celebrating the imminent arrival of the 208 GTI with a special Limited Edition model. With only 54 models being produced worldwide this will be a very exclusive version of the new hot hatch but the good news is that the UK gets the lion’s share, with 29 of the 54 coming to our shores. Why 29? Because that’s how many years it is since the 1984 launch of the iconic 205 GTI. The UK was the 205 GTI’s biggest market and that’s why we get the biggest share of the 208 GTI Limited Edition. So what makes this 208 GTI so special? Well, it’s certainly a handsome hatchback thanks to exclusive satin pearlescent white paint and 17-inch ‘Carbon’ Onyx Black alloys.
