Dukeries Rally 2013 – Video & Gallery

Here are a few of my images from the 2013 Dukeries Rally. Held in and around Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, it brings together a mixture of classic and modern rally cars to tackle gravel and mud tracks.

Although some of the cars may be getting on a bit that doesn’t mean they’re mollycoddled. It’s a great opportunity to witness 50 year-old Escorts flying by at full speed and power-sliding around corners followed by ex-WRC Focuses, Imprezas and Evos.

The eventual winners were Charlie Payne and Paul Spooner in their 2006 Focus WRC, 17 seconds ahead of Stephen Petch and Ian Windress in their  2008 Focus (car 4 pictured below). For full results from the various classes visit the official results page.
