New Focus ST Heading To Goodwood

The new Ford Focus ST, based on the next incarnation of the ever popular hatchback, is heading to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed for its first public display on June 27th.

We might be some way off its intended release date (2015) but this will be a chance for potential punters to see the new ST in action. Professional drivers will be putting the Focus through its paces on the famous hill climb.

The Focus is a big seller in this market, just like it’s smaller Fiesta sibling. Since its launch in 2002, Ford has sold over 140,000 ST models in over 40 countries. That’s set to grow even further with this new model as, for the first time in its history, there will be a diesel-powered version of the ST. That should give the Golf GTD a run for its money!
