Good news for Ford fans, as a team of Focus STs will be competing in the 2009 British touring Car Championship.
It’s been a long time since Ford were seen in the BTCC, where the Mondeo battled the likes of the Renault Laguna and Vauxhall Cavalier.
However, this is not a return to the sport by Ford. Instead, independent team Arena Motorsport will be running the Focus STs, with ex-Vauxhall driver Tom Chilton behind the wheel. He raced for the team between 2003 and 2005 in a Honda Civic.
