It’s that time of year again where the latest Miss Tuning calendar is unveiled.

This year it’s the turn of Berlin-born Veronika Klimovits to take centre stage in the calendar. The 25-year old won the opportunity to become the face of the car-tuning industry at the 2014 Bodensee fair and takes over from last year’s Miss Tuning, Leonie Hagmeyer-Reyinger.

This year the shoot headed to Kenya, a country which might not be renowned for its love of the automobile but certainly offers some stunning backdrops for photography. Star snapper Max Seam was in control of this year’s shoot and has obviously taken inspiration from the African wilderness.

The location certainly appealed to Veronika Klimovits. “I found it particularly exciting to live in a tent in the wilderness in Satao Elerai. When styling in the morning a herd of elephants walked past within ten meters of my tent.”

The car count might be down on previous years but we can still find Datsun 180B SSS and Porsche 911 RS rally cars, an Alfa Spider and the … er … bonnet and windscreen of a Mitsubishi Shogun.

The calendar is available for 30 euros from tuningworldbodensee.de but as usual it’s limited to 1,500 prints, so it’ll be gone before you know it.
