Video: Peugeot 208 T16 Caught Testing

We now know that Sebastian Loeb will be tackling the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in the new Peugeot 208 T16. We also know that it weighs just 875kg and has 875hp at its disposal. That’s an amazing 1:1 power/weight ratio and it gifts the 208 T16 with a 0-62mph time of 1.8 seconds. From a standstill it can even hit 150mph in just 7.0 seconds, about the same time as most hot hatches will have crawled their way to 60mph.

Fortunately the T16 has all-wheel drive and an extreme aero package that should help Loeb to keep it on the black stuff, but it’s going to be a handful!

What we didn’t know, until now, is what it looks like on the move and what it sounds like. Those two questions are answered in this video and the answer to both is … absolutely fantastic! Crank up your speakers and enjoy.
