Burlesque Style For BMW Gran Coupe

This is a bit like a game of Where’s Wally, only with a burlesque model and a car instead of crowds and a man in a red jumper. Take a close look at the pictures below and see if you can first find and then identify the car in them.

Tough, isn’t it? This is the challenge that BMW are laying down to attendees of the fair of Paris Photo at LA’s Paramount Pictures Studios. The German car maker are presenting this set of pictures, snapped by German photographer Uwe Düttmann and depicting one of their cars in a retro setting, alongside their 1979 M1 Art Car that was designed by Andy Warhol.

The photo shoot actually occurred two years ago but BMW have been hanging on to the photos until they had a suitable opportunity to present them. “BMW is pleased to be involved in the inaugural Paris Photo LA. We are particularly looking forward to bringing out Andy Warhol art car and debuting our new photos,” said Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO, BMW of North America.

Sorry love, I haven’t seen your blouse. Have you looked in the Beemer’s boot?

If you still haven’t found the car, I’ll give you a hint. It’s a copper coloured 6 Series Gran Coupe.

BMW aren’t the first manufacturer to try a touch of burlesque to advertise their cars. Honda tried it a few years ago with their CRZ, only that involved more nudity and a lot of blue paint.
