Forza 3 Pays Tribute to Old-School JDM

While many were dismissive of the cars emerging from Japan in the ’70s and ’80s, a lot of them are now becoming collector’s items and starting to gain cult status. Take 10 have recognised this and put some unexpected choices of car into their upcoming Forza 3.

How about a Datsun 510? Not a huge success over here and yet in today’s world of copycat designs it looks quite fresh and appealing. Or an ’80s Toyota Celica Supra? Or the Datsun 240Z? There’s even a ’90s Celica 4×4 WRC homolgation special and, of course, the original MX5.

There’s some newer Japanese metal in the shape of the Lexus IS-F, Infiniti G37, Mazdaspeed 3, Mistubishi Evo IX and Honda Fit, while at the extreme end of the performance scale are Nissan’s R390 GT1 Le Mans racer and Acura’s latest LMP1 racer.
