This is a fantastic compilation of Nissan's GT-R history, from the early production cars under the Prince name, through to the phenominal R35 GT-R in all its variants.
Whether you are a technical boff and want to understand the workings of an engineering masterpiece, or just an enthusiast that wants to learn about the history behind the GT-R, this book has it all.
Very well written, and accompanied by over 400 excellent colour images!!
Probably the best book out there written in English.
    I highly recommend it anyone.

This could have been a great book. There are lots of good pics (hence the 2 stars). But when they start reading it fans of the GT-R will, like me, end up tearing their hair out. The writer appears not to be a native English speaker, and whoever was supposed to be proof-reading it either had a very bad day, or else just couldn't be bothered. It makes the text pretty useless, and very definitely annoying to read. It seems the proof-reader was also asleep as far as the picture captions are concerned. The captions are all over the place, making matching the pics with their correct captions a bit of a puzzle (one that anyone who's not already quite an expert when it comes to the GT-R's history and technology will be unable to solve). I'd guess this book was thrown together in a rush. For the price, it's sloppy and very bad value. I'd had it on pre-order for some time and was looking forward to its arrival - had I known, I wouldn't have bought it. Honest, and I don't often say that about any book. If you're a GT-R fan and you can get it for, say, 15 quid or less, then go for it, for the pics. Otherwise, be warned...

5.0 out of 5 stars Volevo informazioni sulla GT-R
Reviewed in Italy on 6 February 2015
