With a revised Mégane going on sale from January, Renault have released some new video and images of the updated range. Here at Driving Spirit there’s one model that stands and that’s the Renaultsport which you see here.
The changes, as you can tell, are subtle. Revised lights at the front and rear, a larger Renault badge, and a lightly modified bumper are all that identify the updated Mégane. Lower-spec models get upgrades to their equipment and option packs but sadly not the Renaultsport.
The list price is now up to £26,925 but don’t forget to add the popular Cup Chassis Pack (two thirds of buyers choose it). For £1,350 you get 18-inch ‘Tibor’ wheels finished in matt black and fitted with 235/40 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres. Also included are grooved brake discs, a limited slip differential, red brake calipers, as well as stiffer springs, dampers and anti-roll bar.
