The flow of information on the next Honda Civic Type R is slowly starting to increase. Following a very vague video last month comes this new clip in which we see Touring Car champion Gabriele Tarquini take to the Nordschleife in a development version of this hot new Honda.
Information about the next Type R is still scarce but what we do know is that it will have a turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-litre petrol engine with around 280bhp.
It’s difficult to say how much of this video is genuine but I don’t think I’ve heard a soundtrack this badly dubbed since I last watched Bullitt.
