The Citroën DS3 is enjoying a good start to 2011. Not only has it been nominated as ‘Car Of The Year’ by Top Gear and ‘Small Car Of The Year’ by Fifth Gear, it has now been given the title of ‘Best Hot Hatch’ in the inaugural CarBuyer Car of the Year awards.
More specifically, it’s the turbocharged DS3 DSport 150 that has been given the award. The expert panel of road testers and reviewers decided it represents “great value” and is a model that “will also make plenty of sense once its showroom shine has begun to fade, thanks to Citroën’s affordable service plan and maintenance costs.”
CarBuyer said; “Hot hatches are emotive things, and Citroën’s DS3 stirred plenty of passion among our judges. By combining smart looks, lively performance and entertaining handling in such an affordable package, Citroën has crafted the sharpest go-faster supermini around.”
Don’t forget that the top-of-the-line DS3 Racing arrived in the UK recently.
