With the launch of Forza 3 less than a couple of weeks away (October 23rd) there’s a new official trailer and car list for the game to get get all car-loving gamers giddy with excitement.
Showcasing some of the 400+ gorgeous cars on offer that have been recreated in high detail both inside and outside, the trailer also shows off a few of the tracks and some of the cool features in the game. Drifting, drag racing, street cars, race cars, tuning, painting … there’s enough in there to keep you entertained for months.
There’s loads of supercars, of course, and plenty of racing cars, but at the more humble end of the scale there are also quite a few hot hatches to have a go in. How about the Abarth 500 SS, or the new Ford Focus RS, or maybe a Focus ST, Mugen Civic Type R, Mazda 3 MPS, Mini John Cooper Works, Renaultsport Twingo Cup, Seat Leon Cupra, Vauxhall Astra VXR or a Mk6 Golf GTI? And that’s just a few of the hot hatches on offer!
The only fly in the ointment is the launch of the latest installment of the greatest racing videogame – Gran Turismo 5. But seeing as there doesn’t seem to be any agreement about when that will hit the shops (it maybe Christmas, maybe March 2010) it looks like Forza 3 has a clear run at the Christmas market. Expect a few extra Xbox consoles to be landing in the kids’ or dad’s christmas stockings this year thanks to this game.
Go on, Forza 3 looks great and you know it’ll play great – go and get it pre-ordered, because if you do you’ll get a bonus car in the game … an Audi R8 V10.
