Ever the optimist, I’m still waiting for Gran Turismo 5 to be released and I know that one day it has to happen, despite all of the previous announcements of dates that have been and gone without even a whiff of the game.
And now, following the E3 gaming show, there’s yet another release date and a new video. There’s also the announcement that the game will include full 3D support and will ship on only one disc. Surprising, considering the amount of car and track data that will be in the game. The trailer (below) contains more cars, more tracks and a certain white-helmeted driver on a very familiar track.
Oh, the release date? That’ll be November 2, 2010. Is that date for real? Apparently so, but whether or not Sony will stick to it is a different matter.
Right, I’m off to excitedly hyper-ventilate for a few minutes, after which I’m going to go and pre-order the game!
