Rubber is the story of a car tyre. Not just any car tyre, this one is called Robert. Oh, and he somehow comes to life, develops telepathic powers and sets off on a murderous rampage. Sounds like a classic B-movie plot, only this is a new film from director Quentin Dupieux’s.
Depending on your cinematic tastes you might be rolling your ayes already, but check out the trailer below and you might be convinced that this is a piece of movie gold just waiting to be discovered.
On the other hand the release date is April 1st 2011, so this could be an elaborate hoax.
