It’s hardly been on sale for five minutes, but we’re already being treated to a special edition of the new Skoda Fabia vRS.
Limited Edition Skoda Fabia vRS S2000
Skoda have been enjoying a very successful year in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) with their S2000-regulation Fabia vRS and managed to grab the Manufacturer’s Championship. They competed in eleven of the twelve rallies and won seven. To celebrate they’ve designed this new S2000 limited edition of the roadgoing Fabia.
The basic hardware is the same as the regular vRS model – a 1.4-litre TSI engine offering 180bhp through a seven-speed DSG twin-clutch gearbox. Available with ‘Rallye Green’ paintwork, a white roof, white 17” ‘Gigaro’ alloy wheels, the S2000 also features racing livery similar to that of the rally car.
Production of the S2000 edition will be limited to just 200, with only 20 of those coming to the UK in January. Prices have yet to be announced.
