For some people the site of a celebrity ‘in the wild’ can trigger all sorts of irrational behaviour, including uncontrollable screaming and an urge to whip out their camera and grab some blurry pictures.
Well, judging by the video below the parents in this car are clearly very excited at the sight of Clarkson, Hammond and May on the A303 and it results in a rather embarrassing spectacle. Dad giggles and screams like a pre-pubescent fanboy – ‘take a picture, it’s Clarkson’ – while Mum films some wobbly footage on the camcorder.
The only saving grace for the kids in the back is that you don’t get to see their faces, so at least they might escape the inevitable piss-take when they get back to school.
The cars that the Top Gear team are driving are some DIY caravans for one of the challenges in the upcoming series, expected to hit the screens in late June or early July.
