Vauxhall have just released a couple of new pictures of the upcoming Astra VXR, ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
The headline performance figures have already been revealed. We know that the 2012 Astra VXR will have a stronger 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, with power up to 280PS and torque up to 400Nm. We also know that the top speed is 155mph and guesswork would put the 0-60mph time at close to 6.0 seconds. No details have been announced about economy or CO2 emissions but it’s safe to say it will be slightly cleaner than the old model, although I wouldn’t expect a huge improvement.
No doubt we’ll learn more at Geneva, but until then here are some Vauxhall Astra VXR wallpaper images. Just right-click on the link that’s closest to your desktop resolution and select ‘Save’.
