German tuner Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge has had a rummage in the engine bay of the Abarth 500 and come up with a pair of tuning packages that improve performnance from the 135bhp 1.4-litre engine.

The first upgrade is Power Level I and takes the engine up to 163bhp with torque increased from 206Nm of torque to 251Nm, and costs €950.
Power Level II takes things further. By fitting a bigger turbocharger, sports exhaust system and a quick ECU Remap the little Abarth manages to achieve 197bhp. That’s a lot of power for such a small car, but the price tag isn’t small – €5,050.
Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge also offer you the chance to improve the Abarth’s looks with a set of red 17-inch OZ aluminium rims and a suspension lowering kit to drop the ride height and improve the car’s road holding.
