Say hello to the SEAT Leon Cupra Limited Edition, a super-hatch that breaks through the 300bhp barrier.
Built by the Netherlands arm of SEAT, the Limited Edition takes the 2.0-litre TFSI engine from the Audi S3 and adds an ECU remap to reach 306bhp, with torque increased to a mighty 315lb.ft. The extra grunt gives the Leon Cupra Limited Edition a top speed of 161mph, making it the fastest SEAT to make it into production.
The Leon Cupra Limited Edition is, as its named suggests, a limited edition and there will only be 100 units built, each one going to the dutch market at a cost of 32,995. They should be easy to spot, as they come in white with some very nice black 18-inch Orion alloy wheels.
It’s difficult to say how driveable this Cupra is, but you can expect the front wheels will be under some pressure to cope with all of that power.
