Who says you can’t get something for nothing? In a very generous move Subaru have decided to give their Impreza STI more engine power and also bung in a free sat nav system at no extra cost.

2011 Subaru Impreza STI

The upgrade increases power from the 2.5-litre turbocharged Boxer engine by 20PS, which means that the Impreza STI is now pushing out 320PS at 6,000rpm (315bhp for imperial fans). Torque is up too, from 407 Nm at 4,000rpm to 450Nm at 3,400rpm.

The extra power drops the 0-62mph dash to just 4.9 seconds – seriously quick, and for £32,995 you won’t find many cars that offer that sort of acceleration at that price. You also get peace of mind as the upgrade is covered by the standard warranty

On top of the extra oomph, the STI gets a new Pioneer touch-screen sat nav. It’s a clever little system that allows the screen to be detached and connected to a laptop via a USB port for easy updates.

If you’re interested be quick –  this offer is for a limited time only and runs from April 1 until June 31 and applies to both saloon and hatchback models.
