Seat’s German customers are being treated to a tarted up version of the three-door Ibiza SC (Sport Coupe). The new Ibiza Sport Limited comes in a very Lamborgini-esque shade of “Lumina Orange”, complete with black 17-inch alloys, roof and door mirrors.
Other changes include a new front bumper, side skirts and roof spoiler. The new rear bumper is also unique to the Sport Limited and houses some fake corner vents as well as a central diffuser where the twin tail pipes emerge.
Limited to just 300 units, the Sport Limited edition carries the colour theme through to the interior where you’ll find various bits of orange trim, as well as a unique number plaque on the transmission tunnel. As usual with a limited edition there some extra goodies thrown in, including rain sensors and a park assist system.
Unfortunately the Ibiza Sport Limited comes with the very un-Lamborghini 1.6 litre petrol engine that offers just 105bhp.
With a price of just over €20k this new Ibiza Sport works out at £16,700 at today’s exchange rates. That’s pretty expensive so we’ll let the Germans keep this one, but if Seat UK wanted to do something similar to the Ibiza Cupra then I’d be much more interested.
