Sunday evenings are set to liven up once more when Top Gear returns for a run of six new episodes.
What have we got to look forward to this time? The supercar of the moment, the McLaren MP4-12C, will be flying down the Dunsfold runway. There’s a great looking piece aound the roads of Europe as the lads test three hot hatches – the Renault Clio 200 Cup, Abarth 500C and Citroen DS3-R, including a lap of the Monaco circuit just before last month’s F1 Grand Prix. Oh, and there’s a splash of controversy when Jeremy’s electric Nissan Leaf runs out of power – was it staged or did it really happen?
There’s also a rumour doing the rounds that Prince Harry could be one of the Stars in the Reasonably Priced Car. Is there any truth in it? I haven’t a clue.
So don’t forget to sit down with a beer and snacks of your choice on Sunday 26th June at 8.00pm and tune your television in to BBC2.
If you missed the piece in the Grand Prix coverage where Jeremy, James and Richard took to the Monaco circuit, here it is:
