Derby-based tuners Milltek Sport have developed a new exhaust system for the latest Golf GTI.
Milltek are no strangers to Volkswagen’s products and have tuned them for years. They even run a modified Golf Mk6 in the UK Time Attack Championship, as well as providing their know-how to BTCC-racer Tom Onslow-Cole and his Passat CC.
The new exhaust is built from the same high quality non-magnetic stainless steel as used in their race car systems. There are two cat-back versions on offer, one with a resonated centre section and ECE approval, and the other using a non-resonated centre section that is aimed at Golf owners who want to give their GTI a bit more character.
Both systems are built around a 76mm section tube and offer the same airflow. The results are a peak gain of 20hp and 7lb-ft.
There’s a choice of tailpipe trims too, including polished, gloss black or Titanium finish. Head on over to MilltekSport.com to find your nearest fitter and ask about prices.
