2011 Renaultsport Track Day Calendar

If you’re an owner of any of the Renaultsport range then you’ll already have an appreciation of just how much fun their cars are, but have you tried it on track yet? Now’s your chance to really test your car as Renaultsport announce their 2011 trackday calendar, aimed at owners of any of their range of track-bred hot hatches.

This year’s events, subsidised by Renault, will give you the chance to take to the asphalt of three of the UK’s best-known race circuits – Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Knockhill – as well as a chance to join a trip to Germany’s finest toll road, the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Otherwise, if you’re struggling to find time you could join one of the evening track sessions at Bedford Autodrome.

Prices are good, with a full session starting from just £95.  If you trust your mates enough to have a go in your car you can add a second driver for free at the UK events, while expert tuition will only cost you £10.

Renaultsport have been running their trackday programme since 2002 and giving drivers the chance to improve their skills is a crucial element of the day.  At every circuit, experienced and trained instructors will be on hand offering personalised tips to improve car control.

Not only will you have the chance to drive your own car on track, but you’ll also be able to have a few laps in the current Renaultsport range, including the Twingo 133 Cup, the Clio 200 Cup or the Mégane 250 Cup. You’ll also enjoy a hot lap in the car from the passenger seat with a qualified instructor at the wheel.
