He’s back – Ken Block has released the second of his Gymkhana videos and, just like the first, it’s a fantastic piece of action and car control. This time the action has moved from El Toro airfield to the Port of Los Angeles. There’s more sliding, more tyre smoke, more graceful arcs as Block drifts his way across the tarmac.
His new car is a Subaru Impreza WRX STI that’s been prepared by Crawford Performance to give 566hp at the wheels and 611 lb-ft of torque. OK, so the video may be nothing more than a glorified plug for DC Shoes, but if all adverts were as good as this I’d be more than happy to sit through hours of ad breaks on TV.
The original Gymkhana video received more than 20 million hots on Youtube, so you can expect this one to be all over the internet before long. Watch and enjoy.
