As a last farewell to the current model, before it’s replaced by the new Fiesta later this year, you can now order a Ford Fiesta ST500.
Using the same specification as the existing ST (2.0-litre with 148bhp), the limited edition Fester follows the same formula as the Focus ST500 with only 500 cars being sold.
Changes to the standard ST are cosmetic only, with the only colour available being Panther Black metallic paint. To complement the paintwork the ST500 comes with graphite-coloured 17-inch alloys surrounding red painted brake calipers. You also get silver go-faster side stripes and a U-shaped stripe on the bonnet reminiscent of the ’70s Escort RS2000.
Meanwhile, the interior gets an ebony leather interior with heated seats, and carbon fibre effect detailing on the dash.
If you want one then don’t hang about. With only 500 being available they won’t last long, even if they are more expensive than the standard ST at £14,995.
And if you are lucky enough to get one, take it for a trip to Mountune and get it transformed into a Fiesta ST185. Or should that be ST185-500?
